Garmin Replacements

Has anyone recently had their Nav 6 units replacements? It seems in 2024 they were providing replacements due to "ghosting" with little difficulty.

I contacted them today, albeit via 'Chat', and they were only prepared to sell me a discounted replacement. Mine is a January 22 £141 replacement and is a Version 8 Make Life a Ride.

Seems that their goodwill replacements have dried up.

"Thank you for contacting Garmin, I am sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue.
We have determined that your device is no longer covered by warranty. However, I can offer you a hassle-free replacement at a fixed cost of £349.30."

I’d still try calling them.

For £349 it’d have to be worth a shot.
