Just a query with a prob I'm having with this device?
I have been plugging in a simple earpiece straight into the feed on the device up to now and its fine

BUT

As I have a Autocom set I decided to plug it into that.
First prob was I didn't have a mono lead into the Autocom
So i ordered an Autocom lead mono 2.5mm jack into the GPS and then it plugs via a 'splitter' into socket A ( as per instructions) the splitter plugs into the phone socket of the Autocom unit...... ( all cost me £29)

And nothing, not even interference nor feedback?
Just to check I re plugged trusty mono earpice back in....

yes it works?

I bypassed the 'splitter straight into the Autocom.....nothing

I have all the code numbers of the leads, I spoke to Autocom
helpful but still nothing

So for now Im hearing music via the Autocom, converstaion between rider and pillion but need two earpieces in my left ear to hear the GPS.....

Dooh

ANY IDEAS ?

Magwa:(

Magwa, as you are fairly local I would take a ride over to Autocom at Warwick and get them to sort it out for you. They are normally pretty good and will probably sort it out for nowt. Why not give them a call first, they may be able to sort it out over the phone.

Music to my ears

Cheers,
I may well do that after I get back form Cornwall
Gotta take ' her that must be obeyed on a 50 birthday treat!
