Garmin V7

Right, here goes,

My V7 discs have arrived and my 2610 was supplied with V6. I havent registered the unit or V6 yet. Question is, do I need to register the V6 and then update or can I rip straight into the V7 ?

You'll need to registerr to be able to retrieve the unlock code online. I'm assuming this is a free upgrade to V7 and you haven't bought a full blown copy with unlock code.

You can turn your phone off Al, but I can always use semaphore to bug you - although where I am now you may well need to use pretty powerful binoculars - oh and by the way, the suns shining and the beach is great
