Garmisch BMW Motorrad Days 2011

It would be nice for the Tossers to meet up for a beer or salad on Saturday some time. If memory serves me there is a very large beer 'tent' on site (seats about 1,000!) which we could meet up in around lunchtime. Thoughts anyone?

Love to meet up, my number is above my avatar, just send a text:thumb2
We are hoping to be there by Thursday night.

We are looking to arrive sometime Friday afternoon and setup camp in the main site if they still have room. There will be two of us one on a silver 1200 RT and me on an anniversary 11 plate 800gs with a donkey sticker on the pannier, so if you spot us come over and share a beer we should have plenty

The group i'm taking are catching the chunnel at 6 o'clock ish Wednesday morning, heading down to Verdun to see the WW1 site and then making our way across to Nancy for overnight stop and a mosey round the Place Stanislas.

@Mort - we will be arriving Thursday afternoon / evening at some point so will give you a bell once tents are up etc and we can meet up. Have added my number above my avatar too.

Probably won't be able to make a Saturday lunchtime meetup as i'm taking the guys off to Neuschwanstein castle.

Can't believe its come round so quickly after all the planning! Now to just get everyone there in one piece ;)

Btw, the program is now available from the motorrad days website :thumb2. Might see if I can knock up a subscribed tosser flag to stick on my tent too :-)

Personally....... Neuschwanstein castle.......... Dont bother
too touristy.... Like Blackpool with culture.... got out as quick as possible
& hi-tailed it up to Friedricshafen - at least theres the Zepplin museum and maybe even a new one in the air too

Cheers Snow, our route to Garmisch takes us through Friedrichschafen so planning a stop there anyway. Appreciate what you say about the castle and yes it's going to be touristy but I still want to see it. Besides, I hear Truly Scrumptious is in one of the rooms and is still 23!!! :D

That's it....both bikes are packed and we're ready for an early start to catch the 2pm chunnely thing.
