Spent the last hour trying to transfer a gdb file route to my roadtrip on a Mac

Sure I've done it before but can't for the life of me remember how :rob

All my other routes are gpx files, and this one's a gdb.....

HELP

two ways I believe...

In mapsource you have the option to "save as"... In a drop down that pops up you can specify .gpx file as the format

Second go to www.gpsvisualizer.com and use the "convert to gpx" file conversion option...

Hope that helps

Can't find the save as ...

All the converter seems to be doing is converting the file into a gpx.xml word file

If you have an xml file, try just changing the filetype to gpx and it may well read.

Had the same problem in the past, trying to create both gdb and gpx files of the same routes..............

IIRC, I opened mapsource and imported the gdb file on its own, then used the drop down 'save as' menu to give me the option of creating a gpx file. Again, IIRC you only get the option to create the file type once, hence the need to import the file if you want to create a different file type.

I know I scratched my head for a while sorting it.
