gear indicator not working

Just replaced the clutch on my gs1150adv (r21) , I had to take off the gear indicator socket behind the swinging arm, after everything was finished it now shows 1st then straight to 3rd then 5th gear. The neutrel light works just fine, I must have put it on on the wrong angle (maybe) any tips or photo's ? thanks
