I'm into my second week of GSA ownership and am slowly converting my sports-bike gear for more comfortable and weather proof kit, suitable to the ....ahem.........serious off-roading and deep-desert penetration that I have planned
Anyhow, I decided my old and very worn Daytona sports boots had to go and, having heard nothing but good reports, I went and bought a pair of Daytona's latest TransOpen GTX all singing, all dancing and GoreTexed boots.
Now they are amazingly comfortable for such a serious amount of leather (size 11), but are causing me no end of trouble changing gear. I just can't get any feel for the lever and have resorted to using the boot welt to change up.
I have tried raising the gear lever a couple of clicks on the spindle which has improved matters, but it still ain't perfect. So I am thinking of ordering a the extender lever made by Wundelich http://www.nippynormans.com/prodinfo.asp?number=WUN-8500105&variation=&aitem=6&mitem=6
Have any Tossers had any experience of this device or anything similar?
Cheers all.
