Gear Lever Extensions

Hi all,

I've just fitted a set of Migsel pegs to my 1100GS which are superb.....But, I can't change gear - well, not very easily. This is basically due to the fact that the new pegs are only about 100mm away from the lever and I have size 12 feet

So, is there a BMW parts bin alternative or do I have to fit the Touratech/Meccano set up?

I believe there' no BMW ones, the TT item does the job, try and find a second hand one

I have the same kinda problem but only have size 7 feet! Basically though its coz of the boots I wear and have been watching out for a 2nd hand Touratech gear changer for months but not come accross one for the 1100GS, seen a couple for 1150 though.
They are abot £45 from Touratech

Or try what you have for a while. Last year I got a terrific deal on a set of BMW boots on sale. However, not only where they size 12, but they were huge and inflexible. I had initialy a terrible time shifting the std shifter. When I was ready to buy another longer shifter after a while, but I noticed I had gotten used to it and I shift now with the side of the boot without any problem.
