This might just be im new to the GS but is the gear selector a little on the small side and a bit out of alignment with a natural foot position? It seems unatural?

Any advice apreciated

Cheers

As for the position alpha just alter it to suit your needs on the splines , this worked for me wearing mx type boots which are slightly bigger than normal :thumb2

As Forest Biker says the 'angle' of the pedal can be altered on the splines.

And an extension section can be bought through Nippy Normans/Wunderlich to extend if outwards to stop your feet floundering around trying to find it.

thanks guys. will try the extender as its more about length than the angle (ooer)

Hi i has a similar problem when i brought my 2010 gs i found the gearstick position and the tip to be uncomfortable, however the gsa demo was perfect and on inspection the gsa bikes the tip rotates!! (the stock gs does not) by undoing the bolt and than you set the desired position and the stick off the gsa does fit the gs, so i brought one off ebay for £8 was used but mint and it came with all the linkage as well problem solved :thumb2

When you put it on easier to take the gear lever off and hammer it on from a work bench and you can adjust position. Worth making a small black mark to see where you started when taking off bike.
