Gear Shift Assist Pro

Hi
I use mine all the time on my 2016 TE GS.
It works perfectly very smooth and a great addition to the bike in my opinion.

I use it under hard acceleration and breaking into corners.

My bike has done 22,000 miles so may be it gets smoother with age !

Cheers

My 16 plate was smooth as well , I am too scared to say … you don't do it like that … in a Harry Enfield type of way to the others...shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I think the most important advice, if you like, in the whole gearshift, quick shifter debate, is to not become a slave to it.

It's a tool, to dip in and out of, hopefully intuitivly. There will be times when there is a right thing to do, and if you can get that unconscious intuition where without thinking, you use your clutch and blend a gear or two in smoothly or maybe you don't use a clutch and knock a gear or two in quite quickly, then you're on the right track.

(which of course means that you need to use it and in particular, work out where it doesn't work so well ... ).

Spot on Giles, and perfectly put. I never use my going down the box on the B roads, and only really on an off ramp on the main roads. I much prefer to blip the throttle the old way, as I feel more in control....:thumb2
