I'm on a long run at the moment. Over the past few days I've noticed the gearbox is getting clunkier shifting down up in to 2nd and 3rd, rather like the clunk you'd get going to first from neutral, but not as much.
I have put 5k on the bike in 30 days though.

I'm not riding the bike hard as I need to do more miles before home.

Any thoughts welcome (other than it is noisy with a clunk) ;)

Cheers,
Rob :thumb

Yup, just wondered if anyone knew of the start of summit'..

If it had come along over time I probably wouldn't have noticed.. :)

Final drive oil probably needs changed:blagblah
In other words, wont do any harm until youve time to sort it:beerjug:

Check the linkage between the lever and the gearbox. The ball joints have a tendency to seize which slows the change down and makes it less positive.Pull the ball joints apart, grease and put back together. May help:thumb

Above done.. and Gearbox Oil changed at the service. Everything groovy and nothing sinister, so we're good to go again.

Cheers all.
