Gearbox shimming.

After rebuilding my R65 gearbox it turns out that I need a couple of shims. Motorworks selll them £11.00 each plus postage, I needed two ,0.1mm . I found a company in Worcester that supplies to engineering companies for £1.07 each plus postage. I’ve ordered six of assorted sizes,total including postage comes to £13.00. I’ll check them out and report back.

I’ve got hundreds of shims if the ones you ordered are not enough. BTW none of them are 0.1mm if I remember correctly.

I can report back, the shims are identical in ID and OD to the BMW ones but are a fraction of the price.
