Gearbox temperature : 1150

I have just changed the clutch in my 1150 GSA due to the gearbox shaft seal failure. I am up and running again but I have noticed the Gearbox casing seems very hot to touch after driving. I changed the oil (80W90 gearoil) to make sure the level is o.k but the temperature still seems very hot. I can't say I was aware of this before the clutch was changed so I am not sure if this is normal or not. Would anybody have an idea what temperature the gearbox casing should be if everything was ok?
