Hi all my bike broke down today got a false neutral going in to 3rd now it won't go above 3rd gear so sent it up to BMW Manchester,bit of shit timing as off to TT Wednesday as anybody elks had any gearboxe probs it a 13 plate GS LC

Harvey, do a search in this section for 'gearbox' and all will be revealed.

Ask them to lend you a bike. Hope it's still under guarantee. Mine's currently in Cotswold Gloucester with clutch/gearbox problems. I'm going to the IOM Monday but on my CRF250 so I can go green- laneing whilst there. My view is that the LC gearbox is agricultural crap
