gearbox?

Hi folks

I recently replaced my clutch and gearbox today i noticed that if
i excelerate fairly hard in second when it gets to 5 rpm there is a sudden lack
of forward motion i dont think its the engine could the clutch need a bit of adjustment theres about 5mm free play. Or do you think i might have a dodgy
box. It just feels like the gear is slipping some teeth. What do you recon.

I'd say clutch - it the box was slipping teeth, you'd know all about it noise wise!

If you have an 1100, it's the gearbox, usually in 2nd or 3rd gear - well known problem with the early boxes.
