Saw these Gel seat pads at the London MCN show and instantly bought myself one.

At £47 (£40 at the show) its lot cheap than £160 for an Airhawk :augie

The gel seat pad attaches to the seat using 2 velco strips. It's raises the seat by about 2cm, which is good for me being 6"4'

I have not used it on a long run, but it worked well on the commute to work.

Rsstler ... I noticed that you sold your gel seat pad... there was any problem??
you didn't like it? there was any problem or you just found a better (Airhawk?? or something else?? ) one ???
Give us your opinion... as I am planning to buy something similar as I believe that 90 or 130 quids for Airhawk are tooo much while something permanent is not my choice...

Bear in mind though that an Airhawk can be used on any bike so if you have another bike or sell yours you still have the Airhawk. Thats how I justified it to myself anyway! I have had mine 3 or 4 years and I think it is brilliant.

i bought one of these thinking it was the answer to all my pain in the a**e moments, fitted it myself topped with an inch of memory foam, to be quite honest wish i had'nt of bothered, failing buyinig a corbin or similar i think the best bet would have been to get the seat resculptured and built up properly, give the gel pad a miss, horses for courses tho :D
