Regardless of snow, the surface over the glen has had another hammering this winter, so take care. They've also used a lot of sand--cheaper than salt?--and it is still on the road in lots of places. The Moulin-Kirkmicheal road is particularly bad.

Aye, cheers Gerry, the roads up here are bloody covered with the crappy stuff as well. Piggin' mountains of it where the tyres haven't dispersed it. And bloody huge craters everywhere.

If I do come down via Tomintoul and Braemar etc, it's not going to be a 'brisk' ride for certain.

Could folk attending please make sure that they have the correct money/change to pay for their evening meal, T shirt (if they've ordered one) and also breakfast. Please pay on arrival at the hall.

The evening meal works out at £7 pp (to be paid to Bhud).

The T shirts are £7 (to be paid to me) and the breakfasts should work out at about £3 (also paid to me) but I wont know the definite cost of the breakfast butcher meat until later in the week.

It's a PITA when everyone sticks £20 notes in front of you and you've no change.

Tea and coffee are unlimited and FOC
