getting bottom spark plug out

i am trying to change the plugs on my 1200gs done main plugs ok but cant get my plug spanner on the bottom one's how thin a wall does the plug spanner have to have i take it bmw one does both

yes the bmw one does both. Or you can go to halfords to the specialist tool section and pick up a 3/8 drive long 7" sparkplug socket for about £10

Not sure where you are in Essex but if your near Braintree you can either borrow mine or bring them round and I will change them.
