Not sure if this the right forum for this, but...

I've had a pair of Daytona Goretex boots for five years now and they have been brilliant - warm, waterproof and comfy.

However the soles are beginning to wear out. I read somewhere that Daytona will repair all their products.

Anyone know where ? I tried their website but it's all in German of which I speak none.

Try Tony's of Prestatyn................they're the UK importer and distributor and will arrange for them to be sent back to Germany and re-soled and new Goretex

May be wrong, but I think Tony of Prestatyn has closed down now. Sure I stumbled across his website a couple of weeks back and it said that he was retiring.

Yep

You are right sir, that chap retired, his webpage offers other. I get all my daytona stiuff at GLF in Flitwick Bedfordshire.

www.glfacc.demon.co.uk as they are one of the main importers, might be able help.

Cheers, Nick

Slocombes in Dudden Hill Lane, Neasden are a Daytona retailer. You can take your boots there and they will be able to send them back to Daytona for you. 020 8830 1000 is their number.

Have you thought of sending them directly to a German supplier? I recently bought a pair of Daytonas from www.bikerland.de for a good price (£140 incl p&p, special offer) and understand that the guys there do parlais anglaise, sprechen Englisch, speak English, so might be worth a try (sorry, I did it the easy way, German native). If you want assistance, in case of lingo challenges, get back to me and I do some free translating:beerjug: .
