Getting one !

Over weight and under powered, wasn't a fan of mine.

Hmmm..... then you really should be riding some crotch rocket! The S10 is plenty quick enough for most folk. Yes, she is a heavy old bird, but lighter than a GSA and she is quite nimble on her feet. Power wise, I’ve never been left wanting. If you do want more, then KTM and Ducati are your next port of call. :beerjug:

Been there, done that pretty much with them all thanks.

I really like my S10

Fast enough for me, extremely comfortable

Thought they were ultra reliable until my 2019 tour down to Croatia when she let me down for the first time. A headlight bulb blew and she only 4 years old with 41k on the clock.

She looks very similar to Cabby's although I'm not as good at photography!

Mike

One thing to watch out for is loose spokes. This was particularly an issue on the rear wheel.
This is true, I checked mine every 1k for the first 6k and often had to tighten a couple, 16k now and it seems to have settled, I only check them when I service it now. I have cabled tied them where they cross just in case one comes loose, at least that way I won't lose it.

I had one for a couple of years, I loved it, but had to swap it for something smaller and lighter due to knackered knee and hip, and also a gammy left hand had trouble with the clutch. Excellent build quality, comfortable, reliable and plenty fast enough for real world riding.

And while we're asking, Fatal where is that? Looks like the kind of place I'd like to visit.:thumb2

Sorry Micky, looks like I'm not going to make it this year . An opportunity arose for me to get my 690 Enduro out to Bulgaria to do some trail riding and also follow some of the Bulgarian TET...Dent will be the middle weekend :blast
I'm waiting for final confirmation but if it falls apart for whatever reason I'll definitely come to Dent :thumb2

Enjoy it Mike.

Know anybody who wants to buy an old Landcruiser ? I had a change of heart and decided to get the Vauxhall Bastardo camper van welded rather than sell it for next to nothing...so, I've got it back now and will need to sort out an MOT soon and then transfer my insurance back from the Landcruiser. The Landcruiser will have to go which is a shame because I enjoy driving it....but a camper van is pretty useful as you will now know :D
