i maybe getting one

a few queries before i finally decide, done some research so I know about radiators, weight etc but I cannot find a clear answer on the following:

i use a Givi top box (don't care much for panniers) on the GSA but Givi do not list the K1600 GT is there a universal top box plate that will fit?

The rack appears to be the same as a RT is that the case? If so, does the Givi plate from the RT fit?

sat nav - i use a Garmin XT2 is the only place to fit on a stem mount or are there other options I cannot see?

Tank bag use a SW Motech on the GSA – it take it, it’s the universal BMW one, all tank cap fastenings are the same

Which generation of K1600 are you buying? The TFT screen version or one of those prior?

For example, here is the mount for an XT2, mounted to a pre-TFT screened bike:

I have the givi adapter for the K1600GT if you’re interested in buying it, it weighs a ton though so not cheap to post. Also have a larger screen I would sell too.

The one good thing about the (very large) BMW topbox, is that it links to the bike’s central locking system. With the keyless ride, it comes into its own.

One with the TFT screen and keyless ride, we assume.

I have mounted my XT1 on a steering stem mount, which works very well. I also have the option of a phone mount, using one of these (or similar) circled in red.

- Givi monkey sets plus adapter plate should work - seen plenty
- Not sure it's the RT plate, but could be. Devil is in the detail
- Sat Nav - stem mount. Or invest (they are v cheap on eBay nowadays_ in a VI set to go on the dashboard. This works super well in terms of menus and thumb roller. And looks nice. Unless you are looking at the TFT newer TFT bikes.
- Tank fastenings are the same for the bags
