getting spare key cut

Hi all, I picked my bike up less than 2 weeks ago. the bike only came with 1 key and another was sent to me 2 days later ............................... in that time I've managed to lose one of them I've hunted high and low and cant seem to find it. If i need to have another cut how much will it be on a 2010 TC?? and do i just go through a BMW dealer and tell them i need another?

Strangely enough I'm in a similar position.

According to the quite forthright person at Rainbow I have to bring in my V5C log book, my driving license, my passport, my last 4 school reports, a letter from my mum and an apple for the service manager and then they might just possibly order a new diamond encrusted key made of unobtainium for £40 each.
