If I'm doing real gnarly Welsh or Peaks trail rides I refit the standard seat as it's a too tall, and I'm 6 foot, also it would get wrecked in the mud

Good shout. I try to leave my Renazco off my 690R and use the standard seat if it looks like its gonna p**s down. Got it very wrong Saturday and ended up riding back from a rideout in the rain Soon dried out though They treat the suede seats with a coating apparently over at Renazco.

Same for me on the height thing, I'm 5'9" and with the Renazco on, I find it a taller bike (3/4"). The Renazco seats are wider than the standard ones, so your inner thighs don't go down the side of the seat the same

..but feck me, those guys know how to make good seats!
