Does anyone have "ghost" problems with their 12GS ? Like red or yellow triangles that signal problems that are not there ?
Thanks

just reboot it, it'll be fine ;)

The infothingumy should display what is faulty if the triangle appears, i.e blown bulbs, low fuel, faults etc...

The Yellow only comes on to remind me to get some more fuel, but otherwise nothing else so far.

I've walked away from my bike and all the lights were on , but the keys were in my pocket?????

I also rebooted ala pc and this cleared it.

Occaisionally the red triangle comes on on its own, only happens on steep gradient with brakes applied as per manual, ie after the dignostics finish. Off and on clears it and the dealer couldn't find anything wrong.

Funny i had that yesterday...

Having sat on the bog and read the manual on 'hill starting' the GS i went and promptly forgot it

I left it on the side stand, started the engine and the servos wouldn't work! Red triangle, Brake Failure fashing at 4Hz...bollox thinks I. Took the bike off the stand, balanced myself so that it wouldn't roll off down the hill, started it and voila no problem:confused:

Yes but when it happens on mine I don't get the brake failure light flashing, anyway you can turn on with the stand down and it shouldn't happen, I often do cos it takes so long to go through the pre-ride checks that I've got time to finish my coffee and get the helmet and gloves back on!
