Given up with the Remus.....

.....too bloody loud. Had a Remus Alloy Race fitted (already got Y-piece fitted and Techlusion 259). After my recent trip to Gibraltar, I decided it was just too anti-social. Had the standard can re-fitted during the 36k service today and am happy to report a much more civilized exhaust note and no discernable reduction in performance.

Re fitted mine because the MOT was due and ahve stuck with it... I even feel it pulls a touch better low down

I have got a Remus Revolution fitted to my 1100GS and I have to give it a thumbs up. It is road legal with the stamp to prove it but has a bit more rasp to it than the standard plumbing.

Better for those cacooned in their tin boxes, they can hear you comin'! It also has a removable baffle for the audibly impaired

I'm amazed how quiet the BM is (with Ypiece and Remus race can), everyone warned me about how LOUD it would be, it simply isn't.
It just about sounds like a motorbike.

I agree, the Remus Revolution, with the Baffle removed is not loud at all, it's just that with the stock can, it is really quiet, almost purring !! When I first put on the Remus I got a mate to ride it up and down the road at various revs and speeds, and no way will it attract undue attention. As others have mentioned, i reckon it is quieter with the Baffle out ????

I purchased Wreford's old Remus and I agree with him. I've got a Techlusion R259 and a Y-pipe and when comparing the standard end can to the Remus, I find my bike feels far nicer to ride with the standard end can in place.

The Remus was fitted to eliminate my bikes backfiring ( which worked ), but the downside is that it now suffers from a very loud exhaust note. One step forward, two steps back...

I know you know how loud a LOUD bike is...

Gotta start going down the gym to so I can get it of the sidestand when I've fuelled it up.

New can planned when I sort one nice and loud (dont like stealth filtering) and one that won't melt my indicators or box rack.

Buell going nowhere........ spent loads on it and get F*ck all back if I sell ( Thats what I told the girlfriend anyway!).
Love that bike too much.....
