Someone in South Northumberland has upset the gods. Simples...

is this the day the ark would come in handy,

Blimey... I can't recall the last time I've seen so much rain (as a pukka Southerner) fall for so long and there's no sign of it stopping. Arrgh!

Had a nice dry, warm run in the Borders yesterday. On the return leg, got to Kielder and received the welcoming English smackdown for returning to Angleterre, its been a while since standing water has managed to force my feet off the pegs. Ah well, its always great proving to the poor car drivers that a bit of water doesn't slow a bike's progress, just their's :-)

This is becoming a regular thing this year; going from a nice, dry and warm Scotland into a wet, cool England. I'm starting to wonder about cashing in my Scottish birthright card and moving even further North into the Scottish Borders if this continues.

PS. The wind has picked up a tad in the past hour over here.

The Gulfstream is in the wrong place again this year..............too far South, just like Summer 2007 (remember the June & July floods in Yorkshire and Midlands)
