Givi / Kappa panniers / pannier rails

Hi folks

I've my 04 GSA for a little under a year. Have fitted a Givi top (a big thing E53 Maxia - or whatever its called). I have to say Im impressd with the box as I commute on the old beast and the base plate doesn't sopil the lines of the bike too much.

I'm after some panniers now. Quite fancy a set of system boxes but they are mighty procey 2nd hand so have started to look elsewhere.

If I fit panniers I'll only have them on when a trip requires the extra storage space. The rest of the time I've just leave the rails fitted.

Has anyone got Givi / Kappa panniers and rails fitted??

If so:

1. What a guide price for the frames?

2. How easy are they to fit?

3. Do the rails spoil the lines of the bike when compared to system cases?

4. Has anyone got any pics of a Givi / Kappa frame fitted to a GS so I can reassure myself I what spoil the looks of the beast?

I don't have the info on Givi frames etc, but, on the subject of price, you can pick up a secondhand set of System panniers & rails on the board for £200-250, depending on condition. System rails have the least visual impact when the cases aren't fitted - they're barely noticeable in fact...

Givi do side rails to take their panniers they are about £90. I have not seen any pictures and would be very interested to see some.
