GIVI racks / panniers on GS 1150

Does anyone have these, and can someone post some pix, or link me to a source of pix please?
I have a well campaigned set of GIVI panniers and want to see what they would look like as well as any problems, before I buy the GIVI pannier racks

Here's a photo of my GSA with Givi panniers and top box. The top box is the Maxxia 52, I think the panniers are called E360's. They're pretty capacious, more so I think than the BWM system cases, and the boxes themselves are of an ok quality. The panniers have been all round Europe with me on this and other bikes without ever leaking or giving any problems.

(Edit: Just re-read your post and see that you already have the panniers, d'oh, but I hope the bit below and the photos are useful)

I think that the mounting hardware is of more marginal quality - I had to bend the pannier frame a bit to get it to line up with the mount points and after a year and a half it's showing a few points of rust. I've also had to wedge some rubber sheet under the topbox as the locking mechanism doesn't hold it snugly enough, so it can rattle a bit going over bumps. With the panniers mounted the bike looks a bit fat-arsed from behind, but they're no wider than the handlebars.

I'm sure that there are sleeker or more robust options available, but the Givi stuff gets the job done and isn't too ruinously expensive.

Thanks for that, doesn't look too bad at all.
I was a bit worried about the width as the nearside pannier will have to sit outboard of the exhaust.

The panniers are type E360, this is the same as I use for both panniers & topbox. Width only a problem when negotiating stationary traffic, once on the move not as bad as you might think Agree with the comments on the finish of the givi rack, over winter I coated mine in ACF50 (DO A SEARCH!) My topbox is on the bike all year, the V SHAPED CLAMPING ARRANGEMENT IS SHOWING SIGNS OF WEAR. ('SCUSE CAPITALS) Totally waterproof

Definitely more spacious than BMW luggage, and the reflective bits are a bonus as well.

Knew there was something I forgot to mention - the pannier rack requires modification of the standard rear indicators which are a bit too wide. Givi supply hardware with the rack to relocate the indicators, but I didn't like the look of it so instead I got the indicator shortening kit from Metal Mule which gives a better looking result.

The only downside to doing it this way is that when the panniers are mounted they obscure the view of the indicators from the side; they're only really visible to someone pretty much right behind you. Still since no-one here bothers to use their indicators or pays attention to anyone else's I don't worry about that too much.

Hmm, I think I might go for the GIVI rack as I already have the panniers and I can get the rack for £75. Thanks guys.

Only the offside one is a problem on my Adv - even then, I couldn't be aresed to phaff with them, so just bend mine down a tad when I put the case on (does it by itself actually) - just pings up again when I take them off. The bend down is only very slight.
