GIVI TN690 crash bars

Hi all,

I've just traded in my F650 twin for a brand spanking new F800GS triple black. I've removed all the farkles but was unable to remove the sleeves and bushes that mount the GIVI crash bars to the frame. I've e-mailed GIVI but am battling to get a response. Any ideas where one can get these fixings or if anyone has some lying around I'd be more than willing to pay a reasonable price.

Probably get them from Givi UK or Bykebitz, Steve T will be along to tell you as he had the same problem in as much as the guy he bought the bars from could not get the sleeves out either.

As Andy correctly stated, I too had this problem. Givi UK came through after several phone calls about part numbers and Italians having August off, cos it gets too hot to work, apparently
I did try the main Givi site but got nowhere, hence I went to Givi UK.
If I can find the part numbers I'll fire them up here, just in case you don't have them.

found the fitting instructions on the net so no need for you to waste your time searching. Just need a contact no. to order the parts. My daughter will be in the UK 17-20 Dec so would like to get them delivered so she can bring them to Abu Dhabi for me.

Hey Gordon, all the best with the new bike the triple black is very eye catching I saw it at the MCN show the other week.

Ur dead right Puma, she's a stunner. Already fitted the AC Schnitzer exhaust. Out for the first ride tomorrow morning. Weather here at the moment is great for riding. Starting temp +-18c warming up to a very reasonable 25c. And no sight of rain!!!

Thanks for the no. Steve, however, just phoned GIVI UK and been told that they don't carry fittings separate and GIVI Italy are reluctant, if at all, to provide. Bit disappointing. Off course there may be someone on the site that knows of the existence of these bits. If so would be pleased to hear from them.

Bye the way, first ride on the triple black was superb. Keeping her below 5,000 rpm but what a joy.
