Givi top box locking problem.

My 16 mth old Givi V45 topbox has stopped locking itself to the rack..the monokey still locks the lid, but I can remove the box from the rack just by pushing the button, even without the key.

I've lubed it and cleaned it but to no avail..anyone got any tips??
