Givi top box ?

Thinking of part xing the vfr just wondered if many 1150 gs users stick a 42 litre top box on .On a friends gs the mounting plate is only half on the bike is this putting a lot of strain on the fixing points .
The dealer is trying to flog me theirs at £300 and its only 30 odd litre, where as I have a nice monakey 42 sitting here.

Had one on mine for best part of 4 years..........no problems so far

Mine's very stable......it's been to Spain and back courtesy of Mr Tickle and I carry my tools, job book and tubing in it several times a week.

You wouldn't want to put too much weight in it but it seems fine so far...and with a colur matched top looks the dog's danglies too
