Givi Trekker Lights???

They certainly look good but I have no experience of them. It doesn't say what wattage they are? Or price?

If I were in this market I would certainly consider some of the LED lights being offered by Fanum from this parish, which draw a lot less current than normal bulbs but give out just as much intensity of light. You'll mosy likely get far better service as well. :thumb2

See THIS thread.

PS I have no vested interest in this product.

If you change the dipped beam for an HID you wont need any other lights.

I have a set of BMW R1200GS Adventure Original Fog lights in the for sale section for £130 delivered if your interested

Hi
Has anyone got any experience with these lights from Givi?

I just installed them on my 2006 GSA. I got them because I wanted the look of the OEM lights without the cost.

They come with all the bits and pieces - wire loom, switch, relay, connectors, heat shrink etc. They were easy to install (after removing the tank). I hooked the relay trigger wire up to the diagnostic plug under the seat. The only issue was placing the switch. With the cross brace, there is not enough room for the switch next to the mirror, so I put it on the handlebar behind the cross brace. It's abut if a tight fit, but it works.

They are a bit tricky to aim because the mounting is articulated, but with patience it can be done. The beam is flat and wide, not a spot, so is perfect forum requirements.

I'd recommend them. If you have any questions, let me know.

Tunneruk have you any pictures of these on a new GS just want to see how they look and are fitted, and if you PM me a price to fit I would be grateful.

Hi fella,

Sorry no photo's on a GS.

Price is £89 per pair delivered.

They will look just the same on the GS as they do on the KTM.

My GS12 main beam has hardly any more range than dip. Not fun on dark A/B roads.
Some pictures of the LED light spread compared with dip and main would be helpful. I'm after long range driving lights rather than wide angle fog lights.

Sorry for the slow reply guys. The mounts are hand made from staneless steel and painted.
I have a good friend who works in exhaust manufacturing and he made a template out if card then fabricated the brackets for me.
