Glare shield/Cockpit tidy?

Ive got a glare shield fitted with a head light protector does help with the insect a bit. Easier to wipe off. I only fitted them bescause i'am a bit of a poser

i fitted a headlamp protector because a new headlamp is a fortune.glare sheild came in the tt bag.

cockpit tidy...

Got both fitted, reason is that I have HID lamps fitted so the glare shield helps me a bit and the cockpit tidy provides a nice little shelf to stick 3 x hid ballasts.

Don't see how it helps with insect guts though

Roger.

I have both a clear headlight protector fitted and the glare shield. The glare shield is necessary with the HID conversion as there is reflection from the inside of the protector. I've got the protector fitted because I had a smashed headlight on my Kawasaki which was reassuringly eyewatering to replace.

I had a light protector, but took it off when I was doing more riding at night.
The cockpit tidy accesory socket is what I use for charging my phone/ipod/camera when away.
It looks neater, IMHO.

I have the headlight protector fitted and found that you need the anti glare shield fitted if you do alot of riding at night, the protector directs the headlight up onto the screen making it hard to see ahead on dark roads. The cockpit tidy is handy for hideing wires behind for any ancilleries you have fitted (Sat Nav Etc) the extra socket is also handy, but remember, if you wire it direct to the battery, then it will not switch off with the can bus system, so unplug anything you use it for.
