Didnae know they were in Glen Lyon Grizzly ,was the whole Entourage there or just the competitors and Marshalls,as you Know its not the most Accessable place fae the Fort Bill direction. Was up at the Pre 65,s last Saturday.I would have been up for the Main event this week but ended up in Paris a surprise pressy from ma wife .And yes Boxertools bench is still at the Tearoom
Hi Big Jets,
Your right, it's a remote spot for support from Fort Bill.
The riders come over the moor from Bridge of Orchy arriving via the Loch am Daimh dam road which joins Glenlyon about 3 miles west of the tearoom. There are 5 sections in that area and a fuel point then it's down past the tearoom to a food/support stop 1 mile east then its north over the hills to Loch Rannoch then up to Rannoch station then over the wilderness of Rannoch Moor to Fersit on the Laggan road.
Wife and I went up for the Glenlyon sections on Thursday, then went west and spent the night at The Inn at Ardgour at Corran Ferry then followed the trial around the Ardnamurchan loop on Friday - great weather too, stunning.
Left Ardnamurchan at six and home for nine.
Also up at the Pre-65 last Friday - just for the day.
Na, I've had a couple of trials bikes over the years just for messing aboot on - last one was a Beta Rev3 250 - bikes ability was way ahead of mine - sold it to AndyT of this parish.
