Glue

Thanks to Illustratedman I have a rear indicator stalk winging its way to me in the post fro Motorworks. Having looked at where the old one has pulled away before the metal tube inside has fatigued off, the actual lens bit looks to glue to the stalk? If this is correct, does anyone know what kind of glue is needed?
