Gluten free fish & chips, Whitby or Bridlington?

We took a friend who needs gluten free meals as a celiac sufferer to Trenchers in Whitby. They are owned by the Crab & Lobster hotel. GF meals are available

Which is the best F&C in Whitby regardless of all the other recommendations and folk blathering on about the magpie

The Crab and Lobster is also fabulous

As majesty says,149 on Marton Road Bridlington is highly recommended for gluten free, separate fryers etc, cleaned surfaces for coeliac relative - not far from the sea if driving/riding.

Thanks, I am giving the final choice of where to go to my wife as she always has the difficulty of finding good fish and chips. I will get her to read the responses before she decides.
