Go Pro 3+ Extended batteries any recommendations

Hi Folks,

Great cameras but for a 3hr run i hate having to stop and replace the battery, so wanted to ask if anyone has bought one of the extended battery packs as much as 3400mah that claim to give 6hrs recording? Now dont mind swapping out the back cover thats not a problem but i would like to know what sort of recording times people get and what their experiences are of these aftermarket ones on ebay and the likes.

Is it worth getting a cheap case from ebay drilling and sealing and keeping it plugged into a USB

Might be an idea and then either plug in or get one of these extended batter packs
