Go Pro Camera Mounting locations on a GSA

Ok guys these things have been around for quite a while now

to save me the hassle/time and money trying different mounting points etc.

where do you mount yours on your GSA and what do you use to mount it?

I'm looking for the best positions that don't vibrate

I have the helmet mount and am looking for more options, front views, rear views, low to the ground views etc

Pics of your mounting details would be nice if you have them and if you have any links to where you bought the mounting kit you used that would be useful also

Hmmm, you dont say which model you have. The first & best Adventure 1150 or the later run out 1200 model ? :augie In my case the middle of the beak is where my camera was mounted.

Suction cup mount ? Stick on mount? Drilled holes to fit some other type of mount :nenau

Get a Ram mount for the camera, and a ram clamp for your Protection bars at the side of the fuel tank - mount it there.

Ram mount from indicator screw, then self adhesive 3m base, this ones for a Drift but Gopro do one as well, less vibration than from crash bars.

This outfit in Germany has started making some cracking GS mounts but I don't know if they are available in the UK yet

thanks guys

my initial thought was to mount it on the beak but how? sticky pads dont give me confidance, but maybe Im worrying to much? suction cups look huge and ugly and Im not to sure on the vibration issue on the beak either

on the engine bars looks like the way to go for forward looking

any rear veiw mounting point or low slug mounting point I should consider?
and what to use to mount it

anyone mount their Go Pro on the handle bar?

do you have a link to which indicator mount you have by any chance? there appears to be alot of different options

had a search for guard concept and found there web site but all it shows are enging guards etc no go pro mount?

On my previous GSA I used a GoPro adhesive pad underneath the beak and mounted the GoPro there. That pad is not coming off easily as it's a chemical bond to the plastic - rock solid. Went gravel roding with the bike and camera as well. If your inherently nervous at mounting it there you can use a lanyard so the camera won't bounce away.

Yeah I spotted that,
mine is a TC not a (WC) toilet :P......that fancy bracket Nippy is selling wont fit a TC :blast

I'm actually going to try a similar setup to yours, by the indicator currently waiting for the RAM bits to arrive in the post along with Bobbin Man's link to a go pro ball mount from Hong Kong @ £1.99 delivered its got to be worth a punt.

not had any suggestions on any rear facing mounting point or any low to the ground mounting points that others are using?

I've got the BRLS suction mount and so gave it a go with a variety of locations.
