TART!!!!

New year new plans ...Need to spend more time with the family this year as Leo is growing up so fast :) So the SE is going :tears and I'm going to get back into the Trials scene again :thumb2 been a long while but looking forward to it ...I can get my bike fix doing local Trials events for a few hours on a Sunday morning and evening Trials in the summer ...

Been an absolute pleasure riding with some of the inmates on here all the best for 2010 :thumb2

Let us all no when you enter your first trial pal so we can put together a rideout and come and have a laugh:aidan. Imha always thought trials was for :ymca and enduro/mx was for real men, but that might be something to do with where you are from:augie, anyway enjoy whatever you do and hopefully we will get to see you get your gas gas over three house bricks:duno

It's had quite a hard life, and a tight-fisted (Yorkshire) owner, who appears to have only replaced what was absolutely necessary. I'm going through it with a fine toothcomb at the moment to make sure there are no big suprises. Starts and runs well, gears all ok, suspension ok, just a couple of little things that I want to be sure of before I do too much.

The problem hasn't been availability of parts, it's been how many parts it needed!
A couple of hundred quids worth of brake bits later (one disc, one caliper, one master cylinder, one caliper resealing kit) and qite a bit of time and profesional bodging, and she's ready for her first trial. Whether the rider is as ready remains to be seen.
C'mon Phil, get your finger out!

I think the best way is just to turn up at a local event and have a go :thumb2

Enter in the dead easy group and after a lap if the sections are to easy which they will be try the novice route ...

I do know of a couple of practice areas in the peaks but if you know of somewhere let me know :thumb2
