Hi all, would anybody know if a fuel gauge which works perfectly in reverse- ie -when the tank is full it reads empty,lights flashing,and when its empty,read by the trip ,it reads full , no flashing lights. would this be a case of recalibrating or a new fuel strip?

The Piezo pulse fuses together the broken ends of the carbon resistor strip. Its within the actual fuel strip so no sparks can get into the tank. But to be on the safe side do it with the tank full. No air = no oxygen so no ignition.
