I can't remember the last time I was pulled by the boys in blue ?

I'd been out since 7.30 this morning, pulled into fimber café about lunchtime for a cuppa and a piece of cake only to be followed in shortly after by a marked bike who had a few words with me and advised me to "keep a lid on it".

Always thought i was pretty good at spotting them, but I must admit I never even glimpsed him.

Might have to go back to one of them oil cooled things ;)

Steve,

This may not help you but a very similar thing happened to me last Sunday.

Won't go in to details but its the first time in 27 years I've been pulled over and give the "talk"!!!

Luckily the chap was decent and that was it.

It's just too easy to go quick on that thing......!

Never met a decent pig

A good talking to?

I would love to live in a country where all the coppers did was talk to you for speeding. Here, they fine you exceeding the speed limit by 3km per hour. No exceptions.

I've been told off plenty of times. I prefer being told off to being fined.

Keith, Johnny,

When you have a Weenerhead your safety is looked after through the selection of Modes and you no longer need to use traditional organic methods to stay upright, do the right thing- The reason I asked the question above is I'm assuming they where both using Dynamic Mode.

If that's the case then it would seem that after many years of no interaction with the police the fault can only lay with the mode, and the manufacture that programmed such a mode, and unless the manual gives a safety warning they should be the ones held accountable if a rider ever gets nicked....

I'm using my interpretation of Weenerhead owner logic here.... :hide

I can vouch for this. I used 'rain' mode today, and I didn't get pulled over by the police. However I did get soaked. So the modes definitely make a difference.

Hum... Not sure that would stand up in court.... I was thinking more...diminished responsibility!

Steve, Jon....

What Mode where you using?

I was in the cuppa and piece of cake mode.

I have e,mailed BWM this morning to advise them, that as there is no warning in the riders manual of the possibility of been pulled and given the talk whilst riding in this mode, that had the officer in question decided to issue me with a ticket and fixed penalty I would have held them responsible.

I've had no reply as yet ;)

Steve.

Currently in the can't be bothered to get of my backside and do something mode.
