That’s the problem. He doesn’t like dealing with people when selling bikes.Ha ha! Touché! Short answer, no, not really. “We buy any bike” (cnuts, should be called we steal any bike!) offered me £13k for it. As I usually do, it had the accessory parts book thrown at it including a grands worth (including tax and shipping) of Two Brothers Exhaust. I could have taken it off and sold it separately but it is a real ball ache and tbh I couldn’t be bothered. Still, I got more than your mate sold his for and mine had more miles and was 2 years older. I put this down to putting up with the tyre kickers and not being desperate to sell so I could have some fun with the tyre kickers, I am not inferring your friend was desperate to sell, his bike was a better buy on paper, but autumn draws on.
It made me laugh but when I ended the eBay listing, all the watchers crawled out of the woodwork and said they were really serious and why didn’t I inform them it was being imminently sold?
Can't say I blame him, it's always easier if you are offering it up as a p/x.That’s the problem. He doesn’t like dealing with people when selling bikes.
I think that to a large degree , the more expensive the bike the bigger the problem selling itCan't say I blame him, it's always easier if you are offering it up as a p/x.
Saying that I was quite surprised that a supposed "premium" bike was so taxing to sell and the depreciation was worrying on the Goldwing.
Not me, my best pal.May I ask what led you to decide to sell the Goldwing?
Yes mate, although if I had a windfall I could see a Challenger in my future as well( before I get too old). The buyer of my Goldwing yesterday asked me why I was selling that and not selling the the Harley. In a fit of honesty, all I could tell him was that I sold a Road King (standard) once and have regretted it ever since......my bad as they say.Just having the Harley now Si ?
If you were asking me (?). There were a few things.May I ask what led you to decide to sell the Goldwing?
Is the depreciation that bad? Can't say I blame him, it's always easier if you are offering it up as a p/x.
