Of course you do know that removing this useless thing will invalidate you warranty.....don't you ? .....and if you were to have an accident don't forget the bike is then technically 'modified ' so you could find yourself uninsured if you don't notify your insurer.... ....and if a bit of dirt flies up from your bike and smacks into someone's face and injures them you know they'll be sueing you for having caused their injury through your negligent removal of an obvious safety feature .
