Good colleges in North East

Rach and I would like to do some evening classes nearby; she might want to do something with cookery, I'd like to do a creative writing course.

We looked at Darlington College but that seems to focus more on full time education leading to recognised qualifications, and so on.

Can anyone recommend something about half an hour from Darlington?

Thanks, but sadly they dont do creative writing. I would be able to brush up on my hairdressing skills though

As it happens, Darlington college do a creative writing course which starts in Sep so I'll be learning to rite proper good then then.
