Good long distance bike for a fat 6 foot four tosser?

K75 or K100. But the K75 will struggle a little with two large lumps on it. And the clutches are fragile if you abuse them.

The K75/100 models are cheap to buy and very cheap to run. The K1100 isn't.

On the K75/100 just keep the driveshaft splines lubed once a year ( 30 minute job), keep the radiator fan spinning once in a while (bridge the terminal in the relay box) otherwise it seizes.
Change the oil and filter every 5k and bobs your uncle.

I've just aquired a nice K100RT, 1986, the engine and ali surfaces are as good as new, unlike the current bmw's that corrode overnight.
The owner gave me it, free of charge. I've serviced it for him a few times in his ownership, and it needed a new clutch, now done.

In fact Bill, if you're interested you can have my K100RS loan bike, G reg -1989, 70K miles, fitted with C handlebars, tax and MOT'd for £200. The tyres aren't very old.
The clutch arm is stiff and needs lubing, simple enough job. And i've serviced this bike for the last two owners since 1998, until i bought it 4 years ago.
And the beauty of the K series is all the fairings etc are interchangeable very easily.
