It's just rolling on for 9am here in SF and it's a glorious morning, no June Gloom fog today. Still no bike yet, but Natasha and I have a pretty busy and interesting day planned and hopefully we will have good news from customs later today.

I'll update the ould blog later on this evening.

We hired a car yesterday to drive down to San Jose for the day then were back in SF last night to go to the SF Academy of the Sciences for a night-time show. An excellent day.

Chris has just texted to say that we should have the bikes early afternoon today, but with all the recent disappointments I'm saying nothing, but am keeping my fingers crossed.

Another glorious day here and the forecast for the weekend is very good. Bring it on.

Enjoy your trip Aidan...We are now in Billings Montana after travelling up thru Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming. Have had a mixed bag of weather good & some bad. Hope the weather treats you well.

Bike is running fine thanks Geno.

It's funny how much you take the sidestand for granted until you haven't got one. Getting off a fully loaded GS without catching a foot on a pannier and dropping her is an acquired skilll and a bloody nuisance. I hope to get it welded back on early in the week.
