Good places to stay near Marbella??

I am currently storing my GS with Motoadventours (http://www.motoadventours.com/) in Estepona (near Marbella) and fly in and out as often as I can to ride it.

I usually spend the night of arrival and night prior to departure near Marbella but for some reason can't find anywhere I like to stay in the area. So far I've stayed in Benihavis, Port Banus, and Marbella and haven't found anywhere I'd return to yet (either the area or the hotel or both were lacking something).

I'm looking for a smallish, reasonably-priced hotel in an "old town" type area (basically I'd like to be able to walk a few blocks and have a good selection of bars, restaurants, and maybe the beach). All of the hotels I've stayed in so far have been either too big and in a "modern" part of town where I've got to taxi around. Any suggestions?

BTW, the Motoadventour folks (David and Hanna) are good people, and it is a good place to store a bike in the area if you need to...)

Try the Don Miguel in Ronda. Right in the centre, on top of everything including the famous gorge which it overlooks.

when I was working in Antequera, good cheap hotel, bit far out of the town, but the local "hills" are worth an investigation..
