Cant really see anywhere to ask this question, so on the pretext of need to run the bike in after a service and actually having a day off tomorrow,

any suggestions of a good trip out from London on Bank Holiday Monday anything upto 300 miles, please help the sad and pathetic :comfort

In the travel forum, there is a section called roads to get your pegs down on.
Try there, seem to recall a few mentions of stuff around London:thumb2

London, Aylesbury, Bicester, Banbury, Rugby, Ashby, (Cup of tea mine if you like), MMowbray, Oakham, Wellingborough, Bedford, Hitchin, Ware, London.

Used to be my little TT few years back :)

Possible Route

If you can get across London early, Out through Abridge towards Onger B184 I think, towards Dunmow under A120 out of Dunmow on B1057 to Finchingfield. (WARNING about SPEED, Essex will be out in force on unmarked Bikes, Helicopter etc) MCN did an article recently) Finchingfield is good for a stop then out on B1053 to Wethersfield and turn onto the road to Sible Hedingham (Glorious) then onto Castle Hedingham B1058 to Sudbury briefly on A131 and out again on the B1115 Waldingfield Road follow through Monks Eleigh to Chelsworth Then follow onto the B1078 across A14 to Coddenham Follow till you get to Tunstall then take the B1069 Snape Road till you reach the Snape Maltings for another stop and then wind you way back. Hope this helps. It about 100 miles from Abridge and should take 2h30-3h00 or so.:beerjug:
