it's so often dealers only get criticism here- to redress the balance (i have previously posted some negative stuff...) heres a positive..

had a low speed off road prang.
(well-medium speed - first time i've seen a GS almost upside down!!)

rear brake peddal bent - rear brake switch knackered...... due to this i kept getting a red triangle warning on the dash when i applied rear brake peddal.

called them monday morning - said no chance they could see it before friday.. friday!?!?! i will have done 1,000 miles between then and friday... explained to them that i really (really) needed it looking at - and after some "juggling" they fitted me in first thing the very next morning.

i arrived at 0830 as requested - they had the bike back to me by 0915 (after patiently answering all my school boy questions about the damage)

bike fully checked over and declared healthy except rear brake peddal, new part on order, one happy customer.

And going by how much you happily paid for your 'not quite showroom valet' , you were very pleased to only be charged just under £500 for their services.......heh heh.

was £75. for checkover / diagnostic.
acceptable price for short notice / piece of mind.
