Had a test ride on the Ducati Multistrada Enduro and it was good to get back on my '16 GS afterwards.
I've had 4 Ducatis so kind of knew what to expect but this Enduro is a high top heavy lump of a bike. The engine in these latest Multistradas is the best evolution of their V twins so far being somewhat less jerky at low revs than previous versions. However, when I got back on my GS I realised how much smoother/nicer the GS engine is at similar speeds in comparison. I also appreciated the GS's much lighter clutch lever action in heavy traffic, the fact that I have a back brake that works well, a neutral which is easier to snick into when stopped and that there aren't any false neutrals between the gears. Essentially the GS is more refined.
